Frequently Asked Questions

Can the presentation be saved as a DVD movie?
Yes. You can save the presentation as a DVD movie or an AVI file. All the animations, sounds and videos will be preserved.

Can I save more than one presentation in a DVD movie?
Yes, you can save as many presentation as you want. The only restriction is the DVD disc capacity.

I can't seems to be able to make a DVD. The DVD burning process failed. What should I do?
There are some old DVD burners that are not compatible with Flash Demo Builder. When this happened, uncheck "Delete temporary file" check box at the dialog box where you specify the temporary file. Flash Demo Builder will leave a VIDEO_TS folder which you can burn easily using other DVD burner software such as Nero, Roxio, DVD Santa, etc.

What are the benefits of saving the presentation as a DVD compared to an autorun CD/DVD?
As an autorun CD/DVD, the presentation is saved as a Macromedia Flash file (*.SWF), hence if it has interactivity and navigation control will be fully functional. As a DVD movie, the presentation is saved as a video file, hence though it preserves all the animations but it losses its interactivity features.

My autorun CD does not play automatically when inserted into a CD-ROM. What should I do?
Windows 95/98 system sometimes has problem with CD-ROM autorun. When this happened, double click the play.bat file inside the CD-ROM to view the presentation.
